PENNSTAR FINANCIAL SERVICES HIRES GORDON AS FINANCIAL CONSULTANT


Ian GordonNORWICH, N.Y. (JUNE 5, 2008) – Pennstar Financial Services Vice President Brian Voss recently announced that Ian Gordon has joined the firm as a financial consultant. In this position, Gordon is responsible for helping clients in Monroe County with their investment, insurance and financial planning needs. In addition, he will continue serving his existing clients in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.

Gordon has over ten years of financial services and business experience. Before joining Pennstar Financial Services, he was a licensed financial specialist at Wachovia Bank in Dunmore for six years. His duties included providing financial planning and investment advice to individuals and businesses. Prior to this, he was an internal wholesaler for ING Annuities, in West Chester, for four years.

Gordon has a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Ursinus College, holds several industry-related securities and insurance licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (securities licenses are held with LPL Financial). He is a resident of Duryea.
